Thermometer CLASSIC
Descrição
The classic mercury-free thermometer measures body temperature very accurately.
The KLASIK analogue thermometer has a hard tip and inside the thermometer there is a temperature scale and a measuring liquid.
The measuring liquid is not mercury, but a liquid alloy of gallium, indium, tin and zinc, also called gallistan. This mixture is environmentally friendly and health safe, so if your thermometer is damaged, you can be completely worry-free.
You can measure temperature under the armpit, orally or rectally.
Advantages of the classic thermometer:
- extremely accurate temperature measurement with minimum deviation of ± 0.1°C,
- measurement range between 35.5°C and 42.0°C,
- analogue thermometer, without batteries,
- measurement time: 8 minutes,
- is waterproof
- has CE marking
You will receive the KLASIK thermometer with a case with magnifying glass for easier temperature readings and special packaging that makes it easy to compact the temperature.
The product complies with the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC:1993 and the European standards EN 12470-1:2000 and A1:2009 (Clinical thermometers - Part 1: Liquid metal sealed glass thermometers). The mercury-free thermometer is regulated internationally by patent EP 0 657 023 B1.
Use
Instructions for use:
- Clean and disinfect the thermometer before and after use.
- Check that the liquid to be measured is below 36°C before measuring.
- Choose the measurement site (under the armpit, in the mouth, rectally) and position the thermometer accordingly.
- Measure the temperature for 8 minutes. After 8 minutes, the measuring liquid shows the measured temperature on the measuring scale. Read the temperature by gently rotating the thermometer in both directions.
- For easier reading, place the thermometer in a case with a magnifying glass.
- After taking the temperature reading, push the measuring fluid back below 36°C (36°F). For easier compaction, place the thermometer in the special case with the green cap screwed on tightly. Reduce the temperature with vigorous wrist movements.
- Tip: It is recommended to knock the thermometer off immediately after taking the temperature.

Cautions
Caution: Read the instructions carefully before use. The classic thermometer is not designed for specific temperature measurements, such as measuring temperature to determine ovulation. Do not squeeze, bite or bend the thermometer. Do not expose the thermometer to shock and be careful not to drop it on the floor. Do not use the thermometer if you notice any defects or cracks. Use caution when measuring the temperature to avoid possible injury. Avoid contact of the measuring liquid with other metals. Keep out of reach of children. Children's temperature should always be measured under adult supervision. Do not measure the temperature in the mouth of children under 10 years of age. Do not expose the thermometer to high temperatures or direct sunlight. Using a thermometer does not mean that you do not need to consult a doctor. For prolonged fever, especially in children, consult a doctor.
