PH strips - for quick and easy pH test

As a result of our often unbalanced diet, the acid-base balance of our body is often disturbed without us knowing it. That's why special pH test strips are very convenient, with which you can quickly and easily check the pH value of urine between pH 5.2 - 7.6.

The pH test is recommended for use because:

• allows easy checking of urine pH or its acidity/alkalinity,
• allows 99 measurements as it contains 99 test cuffs,
• motivates regular maintenance of a healthy urine pH level.

Use

Instructions for use: Collect fresh urine from the midstream into a clean, dry container. Remove the test strip from the block, hold it by the white, non-impregnated side and do not touch the coloured test area. Dip the test strip quickly (for about 1 second) into the urine sample so that the colored test area is moistened. Remove excess fluid. Over the next 1 minute (preferably 5-10 seconds and in daylight), compare the color of the wet test area with the color scale on the inside of the pad and read the pH value under the color tone closest to the color of the test area.

You can estimate the mean values. Reading the result after more than 2 minutes does not give correct results. Accuracy is +/- 0.2 pH.

Normal urine is usually slightly acidic (pH 5.0 to pH 6.0).

Contents: 99 cotton paper test strips with impregnated test surface. The reactive ingredient content (nitrazine yellow indicator) on the test strips is 7.5 pg.

On the inside of the block of test strips is a colour scale with the corresponding pH values.

Cautions

Caution: Each test strip can only be used once (not reusable). For external use only. For users with color blindness, the result or color range should be checked by another person with normal vision. The test strips are not suitable for use on children under 12 years of age. Keep the test strip pad out of the reach of children under 12 years of age. Test strips should not be swallowed or eaten. Do not touch the coloured test area on the test strip. In very rare cases, the sharp edges of the paper may cause cuts when removing individual strips from the test pad. You can throw the test strips in the toilet after use. All other parts of the test strip block can be disposed of with the waste. You should not make any important medical decisions without first consulting your physician, regardless of the test results.

Store in a dark, dry place, at a temperature between 5°C and 30°C.
