Maca(Lepidium meyenii), or Peruvian ginseng, is the highest growing plant. It thrives on the high plateaus of the Andes at more than 3 600 metres above sea level, where it is exposed to harsh weather conditions. This is one of the reasons why maca is one of the hardiest plants.

In the past, maca was already considered a superfood. Because of its extraordinary properties, it was consumed by the Incas more than 2000 years ago as part of their daily diet.There are several types of maca - yellow, red, purple, black ... which differ not only in colour but also in properties.

Red matzah is the second rarest type of matzah and accounts for up to 25% of the annual matzah crop. It is a popular superfood because it supports:
