Alchemilla - tea for women

Alchemilla has many folk names due to its long tradition of use - one of the most famous is Mary's Mantle. For centuries, it has been considered a feminine plant. The whole herb (the above-ground parts of the plant) or just the leaves are used for tea. The dried plant does not have a distinct smell, but there is a slight pungent or bitter taste.

The Latin name of the plant is Alchemilla xanthochlora.

The product is a dietary supplement.

Use

Preparation and recommended daily dose: Pour 250 ml of hot water over 1 tablespoon of the dried herb, let stand covered for 15 minutes, then strain. Take no more than 3 times a day.

If you cannot drink the tea without the additives, add honey or lemon, but only when it has cooled enough to be lukewarm - only then will the temperature not destroy the beneficial substances in the honey or lemon.
