Neem(Melia azadirachta) is a tree native to India, where it has a long history of use and is also an important part of the Ayurvedic tradition. It is particularly popular for its seeds, from which the oil is produced.

Properties of neem oil:

• It is a versatile addition to a variety of beauty products and a valuable ingredient in home cosmetics,

• at room temperature it is in a liquid state and at lower temperatures (below 21°C) it starts to solidify - it melts again when re-heated (it can be put in warm water for a few minutes),

Uses

Recommended Uses:For making creams, ointments, shampoos, lotions, soaps and toothpastes.

Tip: Consumes about 1% neem oil, which means half a teaspoon per bottle of shampoo or shower gel, or a few drops per cream content. About the same amount of oil is needed for a bath as well.

Other uses:

• Use it in the garden or in the home - 1 tablespoon of oil per 1 litre of water is enough.
• Works great in pet shampoos too.
